ACCOMODATION

Where you stay is an important part of the experience. We focus on providing the best accommodation available to ensure that every part of your experience is memorable.

Most of our self supported treks involve camping. We use three person tents shared by two people and provide very comfortable, insulated camping mattresses that ensure a good nights rest, even when you are sleeping on the glacier. The tours have a dedicated support team that includes porters who carry your luggage and kitchen staff that makes sure you are well fed with delicious meals.

In a large city like Islamabad, we will stay at the Serena hotel, a full service five star hotel, considered one the nicest in the country. In other places we always look for a place that is comfortable, with delicious local food with a special local touch. This includes staying in historic restored forts in Shigar and Khaplu. In Skardu and Attabad we use lake front hotels with mountains in the backdrop. In Chitral, we have lodges with hand carved woodwork and views of the Valley. In even smaller towns like Astore and Phandar, we use the PTDC (Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation) lodges that are located within walking distance of Alpine lakes.
